Duffy Street Problem
John Lambrosa, director of the Manistee Recreation Association, received numerous complaints from North Side residents about the behavior of men using the Duffy Street ball diamond for softball practices. It seems that the men are drinking around and littering the bottles in the area as well as using ill-chosen language in the field. The MRA did not issue permits for the field practices and cannot be held responsible for the behavior of the men.
Now Playing
Gary Cooper now plays at the Chippewa Drive-In in “Friendly Persuasion” followed by “The Rebel Set” with Gregg Palmer. Sessions are Friday, Saturday and Sunday at dusk.
