Dog guards checking licenses
CLARION Beginning April 1, the Regional Dog Warden will be criss-crossing Clarion County checking for updated licenses for dogs and rabies and illegal kennels.
It is important that all dogs have 2022 licenses to avoid fines of up to $300 per dog plus court costs.
Licenses can be purchased at the Clarion County Treasurer’s Office, in person or by mail. The application can be downloaded from the treasurer’s page on the county website http://www.co.clarion.pa.us.

Prices are $8.50 for males or females, $6.50 for spayed or spayed dogs, and a $2 discount is applied for seniors and eligible handicap applicants. There are also lifetime licenses available from the Clarion County Treasurer’s Office.
